Questions to Ask a Realtor

In some cases, the commission paid to a realtor could easily exceed the price of a new car, so for those interested in Colorado Real Estate, buyers and sellers need to ask the right questions. Finally, ask a realtor for references on the last five deals he or she helped close. Every agent has clients he or she served well, but the best in the business provide that service to nearly everyone they represent. Get five references in order to review balanced opinions across the board, allowing you to judge for yourself how successful the agent was. A good idea is to call two of the references, be honest about why you’re calling, and elicit as much honesty as you can. Polite but direct questions are the best approach.

Each of these questions are important, but may not apply to every situation. It’s important they be used as a basis for gathering information about a realtor, and help make a decision that is best for the buyer or seller.
